A funny thing happened around Thanksgiving this year…we found out we were expecting our first baby this July. So after enjoying all of those delicious Fall-inspired recipes, we went on a sudden 3-month food blog/cooking hiatus.
All meal planning went out the window and no one knew what foods would be safe until we (and by we I mean mostly my husband) were ready to cook each night. I ate more baked potatoes, plain cheese quesadillas, buttered toast, and natural puffy cheetos than I care to admit to. Don’t judge…it was survival mode.
Now that I’ve made it through to the second trimester, this little one is finally letting me start to slowly explore the world of food again. So bare with us, and get ready for things to be picking up soon on the blog.
