I am absolutely loving the start of Fall this year! Leaves are changing, it’s getting cooler, and pumpkins are popping up everywhere.

Here are a few of my Fall favorites so far this season:

1. Bath & Body Works Pumpkin Pecan Waffles Candle – Mmm…smells like Fall! The perfect scent to get the season off to the right start.

3. Loreal Nail Polish in Eiffel For You – Love this grey for the season
4. Gap Two-Tone Cowl Infinity Scarf in Heather Gray – Can’t believe that we’re already coming into scarf seasons, but it’s not so bad when you have a cute and cozy one like this one. My scarf collection has quadrupled since moving from Texas.
5. EOS Pomegranate Raspberry Lip Balm – This lip balm is always in my purse. I absolutely love it and bonus: it’s odd, little sphere shape makes it easy to find in my bottomless pit of a bag.

1. Lodge Enamel Cast Iron Dutch Oven – My birthday present this year and my new love in the kitchen. Can’t wait to make butternut squash risotto this fall. Sigh. Fall…
2. Anything in Bath & Body Works Coconut Lime Breeze (used to be Coconut Lime Verbena) Scent – Smells like summer in a bottle.
3. Old Navy Flip Flops – Yes the cheap $2 flip flops from Old Navy…I live in these during the couple of warmer months we get up here in Boston
4. Loreal Nail Polish in Club Prive – Loving this bright blue color this year. Perfect for beachy toes!
5. Zyliss Cherry Pitter – We just discovered this handy little gadget a couple of weeks ago and it is awesome! I love not having to carefully chew around the little pit in each cherry…and popping them out with this little tool is strangely cathartic.
6. Burts Bees Tinted Lip Balm – Currently carrying the Hibiscus shade around with me for quick touch-ups. Love it!

There is one thing that I’m loving and super excited about this month…my Valentine’s gift from the hubby. Is it a fancy diamond necklace? A giant heart-shaped box of chocolates? A fancy floral arrangement? Nope. It’s an….

Ice Cream Maker!!

The Cuisinart ICE-21 Frozen Yogurt, Ice Cream, & Sorbet Maker in this lovely turquoise color to be exact. Does he know me or what? I’ve actually been eying this little guy for over a year and it has sat in my Amazon Wishlist just begging me to cough up the cash and impulse buy it. But I stayed strong and kept waiting for the day that it would drop in price so I could snap it up. Luckily, the hubby was keeping an eye out for a deal too and when it showed up on one of those Deal a Day sites for $35 he snagged one for me. Score!

We’ve already attempted a chocolate ice cream with crushed Oreos and homemade strawberry ice cream. We’re still perfecting our ice cream craft and figuring out how to best use the machine, but be on the lookout for a ton of yummy ice cream and sorbet recipes this summer.
