Roasted & Salted Chickpeas

While on the hunt for some healthier snack options, I came across roasted chickpeas. You can add virtually any seasoning thinkable to get the perfect flavor to satisfy your current cravings. I pretty much always crave salty over sweet, so I opted for a classic salted chickpea snack.

For someone who has never met a bean that I liked (maybe with the exception of green beans), these were actually pretty tasty snack. I love that I’ve found a crunchy and salty snack to enjoy without all the guilt. I don’t think these would keep well, but they are awesome straight out of the oven. 3 Ingredient Sour Cream Muffins

I absolutely love the idea of making a tasty treat out of a mere three ingredients and usually only using a single bowl (minimal dishes–always a plus). Honestly, we found it difficult to finish all of these. While they definitely passed our taste test, they have a unique flavor that only complements certain meals well. Pineapple Upside Down Cake and a Moore Birthday

Last weekend we celebrated a birthday in the Moore household. My amazing husband turned 25 years old, and what did he request for his homemade birthday cake? A pineapple upside down cake of course! I am the total chocoholic in the family, and always go for some kind of super rich, chocolatey birthday cake. At least one of us is adventuresome…

I found this recipe ages ago on The Hungry Housewife and have been saving it for the perfect occasion. I know that it uses a box cake mix (for shame), but I love how simple and tasty this mouth-watering cake is.
